In addition to fun with these beautiful animals, you can also enjoy dining at the different restaurants, or sipping on cocktails at the different lounges that are all around. There are not many other places in this area where you can meet a dolphin up close, so this is a one-of-a-kind experience that you should try out. The prices are affordable, and kids can enjoy hanging out here just as much as adults can. Dolphin Discover has a completely entertaining dolphin show several times a day. If you look close you can see a few dolphins swimming by!

Isla Mujeres

Day Trips: There are so many places to go and fun things to do all close to Cancun. One of our favorites is a day trip to Isla Majeres just off the coast of Cancun. We load up our boat and head out but there are also several different Ferry Boats that can take you there for the day leaving from three public dock areas. All dock areas can be reached by public bus right outside the door. Isla is like a little Mediterranean fishing town 100 years ago. Once you arrive on isla you can walk off the pier to the main street where you will find people waiting to sell you snorkeling trips, fishing trips, souvenirs etc. along with a large number of golf cart rental stores. You can usually bargain a cart for $45.00 US for half a day. With this cart you can tour the entire island taking your time and stopping as you see what interests you. There are numerous restaurants to stop for lunch or dinner. There are also 5 star restaurants in some of the most beautiful hotels you have ever seen. We always make a stop at the north end of the island where the beaches are to die for and the water is usually as calm as glass. We will back our boat in and drop anchor in the sand beach and get out the party. Before long you will look around and find yourself surrounded by million dollar yachts! Everyone have a great time. This is definitely a show stopper and a time you will never forget. The water is shallow forever and the palm trees, hammocks, restaurants and beachside bars are all so much fun.

Nightlife

One thing there is no shortage of in Cancun is Nightclubs. There is the most incredible entertainment, music, talent and if you are lucky there are even live concerts like Louis Miguel, Ricky Martin, Chicago, Michael Bolton and many more. The club scene stars about 9 PM and goes until the sun comes up. There is total law and order anywhere you go in Cancun as the Mexican Government believes the tourists are their very life flow and everyone acts accordingly. In the 35 years we have been in Cancun we have never as much as had an argument with anyone.

If you’re into adrenaline rushes and are interested in trying something new while on vacation in Cancun, then flyboarding is a great option. This is a fairly new activity, but it has a lot to offer people who love exciting new adventures. This is basically a board that has a water propulsion pack on the bottom of it. You get strapped in, and then the hose lifts you up into the air using water pressure underneath your feet. You have the power to control the water using hand jets, but also by shifting your weight while you are standing on the board. There are several places that offer this activity throughout Cancun, but you do have to be 18 years or older to actually take part in it. It’s definitely a memorable activity that you can’t do everywhere, so you should try it if you love experiencing brand new things! Just make sure someone takes a video or pictures so you can re-live it when you get back home.
